I had an 06 GT and traded it in for an 08,the material where the moleskin goes is different on the 08. Has anyone noticed this and does it still scratch the tinting

yeah but the 08 is a different wiper channel, it is not bare rubber, it has a felt on it. I do not think you need moleskin on the 08's. But someone with one should be able to confirm this
