Need Little Help Ford Dual Fuel Pumps
How do you remove the stockfuel pump from the housing? Getting the whole pump out of the tank was easy but this is driving me nuts. Also it looks like a clamp is holding on the tube to the pump. Any suggestions here are greatly appreciated. Tanks

Comes apart pretty easy, just take your time. The factory clamp is a one time only pc. You will have to pick it open with a small pick/flat blade screw driver. Take your time, don't poke a hole in the line.

RE: Need Little Help Ford Dual Fuel Pumps
Ok, The install is finally 99% done . This thing was pretty bad, if you want some advice for the install do not forget any clamps and make sure the black and red wires are connected to the correct side of the pump. Had the install done lastnight after many failures then this morning I lost pressure and the car stranded me.in the rain. LuckilyI had the tools in the car so I took the seat out and pulled the pump out. The tube at the Y came out. I couldn't get the clamps over the nub on the Y and looking at the vortec instructions I didn't see any so my on fault thought it would be ok. So to get home I had to keep pulling over to push the damn tube on, what fun. I finally got home got some clamps from the hardware store and now everything looks good. Still raining here so I can't really tell and my gas is reading really low but I'm not suprised considering I spilled ALOT of gas, woohoo. I love doing this stuff myself! Not to mention lastnight I noticed a big dent in my rear quater panel. It looks bad but not bad enough it couldn't be fixed the paint doesn't look bad what a bad day yesterday
