$$$ of GT500 hood
Hey, I got into an accident and will have to have my hood replaced. Insurance will cover it but I am wondering if I could just pay the difference to have the GT500 hood put on. anyone know how much they are?

I know someone that has about 15 of those are was selling them for about 300.00 unpainted so you would have to get it painted.
But like rainson said you would have to change your whole front bumber to get that hood thats why I didnt go for it....

Before you ask, you should know that the GT500 front fascia conversion can't cost as much as $2,000 for parts alone. I paid $1,300 for parts, but prices vary from dealer to dealer.
So, if you're not looking to invest in the front fascia, then the GT500 hood is a no go.
Just an FYI, but my insurance company was more than willing to work with me to install the GT500 hood. In fact, the price of the hood was the same as the stock GT, not including the two plastic inserts.
