Are CMDP bad for performance afterall or can they be tuned right?

Are CMDP bad for performance afterall or can they be tuned right?
I just talked to a mustang 'expert' who talked about how torque has been a problem for previous mustang engines, and how Ford's CM plates are a huge innovation to improving torque. Apparently they disrupt the flow of air so much that it helps in combustion. They open enough to give great HP at higher RPMs.
I installed delete plates... And even with a b@ma tune it seems like I'm definately losing torque. The car definately gets better HP in the higher ranges (Where Im rarely driving).
So, is it a bad idea to install CMDP without F/I or some other need for higher-end HP? No tune can fix it?

Justin (VMP) says its a non-issue with a proper tune. I dont know. I will have a set in a month or so.
They do indeedpromotelow rpm and low throttle port velocity.
Ford was trying to make the 3V feel like the2Vdown low while feeling like the 4V at high rpm.
The only issue is they disrupt airflow at high rpm.
If some elses tune doesnt fix it then try putting them back in. Theyonlycost 5-6 rwhp on mostly stock cars.

I wonder if cutting the blades in them is better than getting rid of them. That way they'll still disrupt airflow but not be such a burden at higher RPM.

I know with my tune i didnt notice the loss of torq....That is the VMP, Bama or Brenspeed tune.....they all have a plenty down low still....now i will admit that i am sure i would have more before putting the o/r h pipe and the CMDP in, but cant say i remember a huge difference either
