For the most part, there is baffeling in the boom tubes and there isn't in the loudmouths, because of this the booms tubes are less raspy and from what I have heard have a much nicer/deeper idle sound (all a matter of opinion of course).

I have my boomtubes sitting in my basement, just waiting for ford to build and ship my 08 GT to me.
