So, about those baffles....... Does the boomtube maintain a 2.5 inch diameter on top of the seashell baffles, or is it like putting the seashells inside a 2.5 inch pipe? Looks like the latter would create backpressure, but, then again, maybe that's how they get rid of some of the SLP raspiness.
Sometimes I get tempted to try this...
Remove my Borla stingers and Borla over-axle pipes.
Install my stock over-axle pipes with SLP loudmouths (exhaust tips basically).
Cut out the front part of the stock over-axle pipes and install one of these dual-in/dual-out Flowmaster super 40's right after my prochamber.
Wonder how it will sound.

I don't want to jack this thread or anything, but why the heck do people record examples of their exhaust from inside a garage? If you are gonna do that, why not just put the camcorder in a metal garbage can and put the can next to your exhaust tip.
And while I am ranting about this, please don't record your exhaust while the wind is blowing directly onto the mic.. haha
I appreciate anyone that takes the time to record their exhaust music and post the results, but it frustrates the hell out of me to find a youtube of an exhaust combo I am interested in, only to see them recording from the end of a closed space that totally changes the sound that they are trying to record.
That being said, how are the boomtubes for cruising at 70-80 (~2000-2300 rpm)?
