Auto vs. Stick (Exhaust Note)

RE: Auto vs. Stick (Exhaust Note)
I don't get it... both sides are wrong!
The best would be a paddleshifting, clutchless transmission that is instantaneous. That means you could put in Auto mode for when you are in heavy city traffic, sight seeing or have a sore left knee and then put it into Sport mode for when you want to let the revs go up.
I guess with so many people here stuck in the old ways of doing things they might have to keep it a stick shifter, so they'll have a rod to caress while they drive, but the clutch is going the way of the carburetor...
Just may take a long time for Mustang owners to get used to the idea. Hell it only took most of them 40 + years to allow Fuel Injection in a Stang.
BTW, by manual shifting my GT it sounds like any other stock GT. But when in Auto and I let off the gas, it is way too quiet!

RE: Auto vs. Stick (Exhaust Note)
I just thought I would mention......
The M5 and A5 GT's havedifferent Mufflers. They have different part numbers,
The A5 GT has a Quieter Muffler that is also usedonthe GT500.
I guess theM5 muffler wouldnt quite pass Fords noise test on the 5.4L SC.
