I do believe the Kook's system with high-flow cats will also pass.. Otherwise, why offer the cats? They are ratheronthe pricey side though.. $1279 or something at Brenspeed..

Even with high flow CATS, as long as you are not throwing a code it should pass inspection. Newer cars they just read the computer, they don't do a sniff test.

It all depends on the State and the inspector. Some states have different inspection criteria depending on what county the car is registered in.

Whatever setup you decide to go with, if you want to be legal just call the manufacturer. They don't want to get in trouble with the government and that usually keeps them honest. If you fail an inspection with a setup that you, and the manufacturer, believe to be legal I would go to another inspection station.

I thought I read in California that they inspect the positioning of the cats... So even with longtubes that have cats, it wont pass if they're further back from the stock area?

I just wanna pass I dont wanna be legal, I am hoping when I get out there that they have a station that I can get an inspection from that does the quick walk around and says OK UR GOOD. Haha lets hope
