Last night there was a freezing rain warning along with warnings about black ice so I decide to park the Mustang for the day and take the winter car to work. I wake up this morning and for once the weather forcasters were correct. I look out at the Mustang and it has at least a half ice of frozen rain coating the cover. I look over at the Civic and its also coated. I do my morning routine and head out the door for work. I jump in the honda......and it won't start. I mess around for a few minutes and it's a no go. Needless to say I am getting pretty pissed off. It drove good a few days ago so my guess is that it is the battery. SO...now I have to take the cover off which seemed like it weighed 100lbs, toss it over the railing of the porch and go to work. The roads were pure ice so I drove nice and slow. Thankfully I made it but now I have to worry about driving around the rest of the day and hope that I can figure whats going on with the beater.

hope you get it fixed soon. I woke up to 1/2 inch of snow yesterday morning. Made me glad for a few things:
1. got a 3 car garage and 1 of those bays is where the Mustang is bedded down for the winter.
2. Bay number 2 has the 4wd Ranger, which is what I'll be running from now til April 08.

I really feel for you man - I would have hated to drive the Stang in that crap yesterday - my truck had all kinds of leaf schmeg and dirt all over it when I got home - yuk!

My winter / beater car is my Firebird, plus I have a 200AMP Starter/Charger in my garage. Never have that problem, sorry.

I duck tape a streamlight flash light in the front (Hole)when I drive at night..works like a charm. I dont want to put anymoney into it because I need the money for mods...
