Default Side view mirrors stolen

So I parked my car tonight in a pretty good neighborhood (boca raton, fl) at a bar for about an hour and 1/2 and someone stole the glass out of both side view mirrors.... No glass on the ground, just the whole piece of glass missing... WTF?! who does that...anyone have theirs stolen? How much is it to replace?

damn dude who does that? did you have turn signal LEDs in em or anything? cant imagine they would be too costly as long as the motors and electronics are still there to hook up to the new glass

Nope, stock mirrors, nothing special either.. I see some for about $20-$25 each for the glass... One of them looks like I can just glue the glass back in but the other I think is missing a plastic piece inside. I'll have to look in the a.m. to see what can be done.

I've been wanting to put the car up for sale and last week one of my friends backed into it and dented the 1/4 panel, now this! The car has been perfect since 05 now all of this all of sudden... i guess its a sign that its time to sell it [sm=smiley24.gif]

Consider just buying brand new mirrors off Ebay.... easiest and cleanest method.

Wow, so lame... I may have to take mine out and superglue them back on!

Of course then my whole mirror will be missing....
