Goin to the track for the first time.

Goin to the track for the first time.
Finally have a Friday night off and will be going to Baytown if weather permits. Just a few questions for avid track runners.
-I know the rear psi should be 26ish? What about the front?
-Whats the most commonly used launch rpm range? (Stock tires)
-How many light their tires up to get em sticky?( " ) Ive heard that it just heats up your aluminum block too much.
-I'm also thinking about going with a tune and can pick up a xcal2 right across the street so i know i can have it in time. How long does brenspeed usually take to configure and email your tune?
-Ive heard 91 tune with 93 octane actually runs better than 93 and 93 (Pinging issues) True?
-I want to have a good tune to run at the track such as a 91 but want to have a streetable tune just to be able to run my CAI without having to remove and replace when going to the track (Runs too lean on factory tune). Will the canned 87 tune be enough to uphold my car with the intake between track visits?
-Any other tips would be greatly appriciated!

RE: Goin to the track for the first time.
I ran my rear tires at 25 psi. If your running the stock pirrelli's dont do too long of a burn out. The tire starts to shred and ends up all over the side of the car. Good luck!

Stock tires should just be spun enough to get any dirt off. Avoid the water tray.
Launch rpm between 2500 and 3000 works for me.
93 octane for 93 tune. There are no "Pinging issues" with mine.
Best tip: When the tree gets to the 3rd yellow punch it. Don't wait for the green.

RE: Goin to the track for the first time.
you need a tune if u use 25 or lower psi,coz thesystem will tell you "low tire pressure" when under 25psi.
for stock,I launch from 2k-2.5k..the 3rd red light ,whichis above the green,is the time to go.
