Sooo Anyone running gas & a blower on a S197??
Because I am considering it. Was gonna sell the Zex stuff, but the girl said she loved all the "pearl purple" accents in the engine bay, and wants me to keep it--something I had thought about before, but kinda decided to get rid of it at the time. So the bottom line is this-- the Vortech is supposed to be here on tuesday, will be lookin to install about a week before Christmas. Considering putting a 25 shot of nitrous in. So my question is this--anyone running this combo? Also, should I install the nitrous nozzle before the supercharger or after the supercharger? The car will be dynotuned at Fastlane, in Benson NC <-- they specialize in late model Ford's only btw.

I haven't heard of anybody doing it here.
Its not a bad idea if the block is strong enough. If I had a strongenough block, I would throw maybe a 75 shot. This has 2 benefits:
1) Outright benefits of nitrous(more power!)
2) The nitrous will cool the intake temps improving the power that your blower will output.

Can be done but would not do it on a stock block either.

On second thought didnt FRPP just come out with a new "big bore" iron block for the 4.6L Deck Height?
As long as your buying new internals you might as well do a stroker kit.

Considering it only as of now. I figured that replacing the guts would be enough--didn't really think that I would need a new block too tho. Well, may gp ahead and just sell the funny juice then. Oh well, we will see. Gonna talk with my tuner first for his professional opinion before I ditch the gas completely.
