Looks like im driving to Vegas or New Mexico to get it tuned.

If the car is turned on for a few seconds then turned off, it shouldnt have an once of fuel on top of the pistons

I have heard of running lean smoking an engine
but running too rich causing that damage?
Did your oil pressure go down when the gas
mixed with the oil? Good thing that fuel mixture
in the block didnt get ignited. KaPow!!
Sorry to hear of the problems.
Spun anything sucks.

after the noise the tuner tried to drive it and the oil pressure went up and down. i think it did because the metal shavings were blocking the oil

any other ideas on why this would happen? I was told this was the issue but for all i know the crank could not have the right clearance. Some guy at a shop told me the eagle cranks sometimes have problems

I'm no expert on the aftermath but it sounds like he tuned it too rich. You get too much fuel in there it won't all get burned and you end up gas washing the rings. That'll definitely lock her up... Many inexperienced tuners make that mistake thinking richer is safer... wrong answer. -Joe
