4.10's in a 07 GT auto???
What are the advantages for putting 4.10's in my car? It is my daily driver (as long as it is not snowing). I have a mix of city and highway driving in case that matters. Any input would help. Thanks

How much do 4:10's lower the top speed?

stock you can reach 147 and still have more but the limiter won't let you
In-fact in theory you could reach 200mph (solely based on gear ratios).
Obviously you can't get to 200MPH even without the limiter due to other factors.
So I doubt 4.10's will lower your top speed much if any.

the limiter will let you go, there should still be plenty left in 5th to accelerate. There isn't a speed governor on this car to my knowledge, it comes "Drag limited 147." Meaning that because of the aerodynamics of the car, the wind-resistance wins the battle as the S197 is factory designed at 147 mph. Modifications can change this, if you increase the power, you will be able to go faster than 147, and overcome wind resistance up to a further plateau.

I've hit 147 and then couldn't raise the Rev any higher (it was around 2000rpms after it went in 5th and thats on an auto)
I just won't let you go faster
With just the limiter off you should be able to do 150-160 without problem but you won't know your speed without a GPS
the 6's are limited to around 120-130'ish
