Hurst, $190 from Brenspeed.
Super. Thanks. Have my first bookmark now. That would fit in there nice. Any thoughts on the Steeda short throw. That would fit the budget well too and my intake and tune are from them. (Might make rebadging the GT on the side more reasonable.)

Flowmaster ATs are $330 from v6mustangstuff.com. maybe you could cut a deal where you trhwo some cash in also so you get something a little more expensive. and if you dont want exhaust but still performance maybe a hurst? and i would recommend either red or silver stripes on your car if you go that route

Thanks for that link too. It appears there are a couple systems she could afford. I'll have to do my research now and get a couple sound clips of exhausts to let her know which one. I KNOW I've seen a few threads on here that would help that cause.

A quick and final update. I sent your suggestions to my wife and she's decided to go with the rear spoiler. My son decided his gift would be a set of Foose stripes. (I told you he thinks my car is too boring.)

I tell you this now as I live in Wisconsin, without a heated garage, so it may be a while before I can post pics. (Maybe the spoiler can go on. The stripes will definitely have to wait.)

Thanks for all your suggestions. Will save the list for next year too. [sm=hiya.gif]

How about a MGW short throw shifter: $295. That's what I asked for
That is arguably the best short shifter for our Mustangs right now. I'm cheap, I went with the Hurst.
Hurst cheap? Those are fighting words.

Just cause I didn't want an adjustable shifter (that I'll never adjust) doesn't mean that I went cheap. I went with Hurst purely for the aesthetics and for the short notchy throw.

It gets the job done and looks great. If it was cheap, I would have destroyed it by now going from 1st to 2nd.
