Default Stock H-pipe and exhaust?

If I am going to switch out the stock exhaust and install a cat-back exhaust and x-pipe, what is the best way to get rid of the stock stuff and if so, how much could I get for them?

BTW, should I wait until around 1000 miles to swap it out or can I do that from the beginning without decreasing engine life?

Why do people switch to a X pipe to begine with? You dont gain much power if any and you lose the loudness....unless it is off-road.

If the SC is $5500 retail, could we expect that there are certain dealers that would give us a break on that price, and if so, what would the cost be?

I saw that post, but I don't want a centrifugal SC; I want a twin screw. Kenne Bell has not come up with one for the 05 yet, and the Saleen will probably be way too expensive. Whipple is the only one out there presently that is twin screw.

You're comparing apples and oranges.

The Vortech engine is a good deal, I will give you that, but I want twin screw for the low band RPM hp gains that stay consistent throughout the RPM band. The centrifugals have a lag time before full boost, which is not what I want even if the top end has a higher hp. My car is going to be the daily driver, which will require a more livable output, which I believe (from discussions here) that the Whipple SC will provide.
