bmr lca's same problem

My bmr control arms are starting to make a crunching noise when the suspension is really flexing on them, I know this isnt much to go on but does anyone see anything wrong with these pictures. its also getting cold here(below freezing) and this is my first winter with these lca's so i dont know if they tend to get louder in cold weather or what, any help is appreciated. if anyone can help or i should take other pictures let me know, ive taken the control arms off all the bushings look fine externally, they were quiet the first 4000 miles but now i dont know whats going on, seems to be coming more from driver side.

What kind of grease did you use? You MUST use a lithium or polymer "base-oil" grease on polyurethane. A petrolium base grease will actually destroy those bushings. I picked up a tube of this http://www.greengrease.net/ at Advance auto for about 7-8 bucks. It's a polymer base synthetic that lasts much longer than conventional grease and doesn't wash off. If you have the wrong grease in there, I would recommend going back and loosening the bolts enough to purge the grease out using the right kind.

No noise with mine, but I guess if they were really cold they could make noise.

I have never heard of the petrolium based grease destroying the bushings. Not saying that is wrong, just never heard it....pretty much sure mine has whatever was in the good olde grease gun

Is the offset the correct direction?

what do you mean by correct offset?

My spohns make all kinds of creaky noise when I go in drive ways or sidways over bumps. They are the adj poly end ones. I just thought, thats what I get with stiff aftermarketsuspension
