I have to admit I've always been a Chevy guy untill the new style Mustang came out. Couldn't stop dreaming about one so I ordered a 08 Grabber Orange GT 5-speed. When it comes in the dealership is adding a chrome finish Roush SC, a 4-piece GT body kit from Fordaccessories, a set of SilverHorse louvers, and a GMW shifter. I will add ceramic headers, X-pipe exhaust, and window tint later.

I can't decide if I want side scoops or not, what do you think?

Also thinking about color matched outside mirror covers, the kind that covers the whole mirror. Do they look good and are the guys that have them satisfied with them?

I would like to keep the wheels at 17' and kinda like the 93-94 Cobra style. I would like to know the best tire size combo front and rear. What is the widest I could go keeping the 27' height with stock suspension? What backspacing do I need?

Sorry, this is a lot of questions at one time but any help would be great!

If you want the whole mirror to be body color, then just get them painted. Mine are red (obviously, but you get the idea)

Wow very nice! I love the silverhorse louvers i think they look the best, as for the sidescoops I'd go with out them and leave the mirrors as is, I think its an amazing looking car stock and the black and orange go great together. Im not really a tire guy, but I do know getting new rims is definatly an apperarance and performance mod worth doing, get some 18" and slap some 275s or 285s on the rear, they really hook up well and a nice set of meaty tires looks great too!

Another GO machine. I'm partial to GO, but congrats! Are you planning on any stripes? Personally, I like the side scoops from Ford (like the ones on the GT/CS). The Roush SC should make it alot of fun. I like the full mirror covers, but I went with the ones from http://midwestautogear.com/. They have alot of nice additions for our S197s. You might pick up some modding ideas from my signature page, too.

Nice! I'd leave the mirrors black, as GO needs a few dark bits to break it up, to keep it from looking like a big block of chedder cheese. I love the color, but there is a point where it becomes way too overbearing.

Congrats on the order. I ordered an 08 GT myself 2 weeks ago and the wait is kiliing me. I talked tothe dealership yesterday and I have a build date of 12/10.
