Here is something about the grades used by chevron scroll down towards the bottom. Not sure about that perticular station but from talking to some guys at work the lowest grade we make is 87. A bit strange.

I use Costco gas here, and it's always been 87 octane in my car...And it seems like the Dept. of Weights & Measures is out at least once a month at the pumps checking the octane and the actual gallons pumped. So far, they're still selling gasoline & haven't been shut down, so I'll keep buying from them.
Besides which, all of the gas in San Diego County comes from a pipeline to a central location (right by Qualcomm Stadium) that the Chevron, Shell, independents, etc. all fill up from and add their various detergents to, as they roll the trucks out. So, it doesn't make a bit of difference to me which gas station I go to down here, it's pretty much all the same.
I'm still waiting to see someone convert a<insert performance car here>to an electric car (don't laugh, those little electric motors put out a HECK of a lot of torque!) and see them do some nice, smoky burnouts...It'd be kinda fun to see the NHRA embrace something like that, have an Electrics Only class...

I don't think anyone is WHINING about 85-87. Personally I use 91....It was more meant as a heads up for folks that think they are using 87, and MAY actually be getting 85, and also pointing out the pricing "dig" that may occur by stepping up to the 88 octane to meet minimum specs......

I don't think it's a big deal. 91, 93, meh... I was just staing that these whiners whine about 85-87 octane and it's funny

Can't remember what the silver one was. Looks similar to a Porsche.
Check out the interior:
Oh and don't forget the Tesla!
Of course you'll have to get the electricity pump:

I know of3 places just in irvine that sells e85. Theres got to be more than that in ca. Funny thing is my audi wants 92+ octane gas and the highest they sell is 91. Now that sucks why do they even sell the car here >_<
