I have had problems with mine also. No bad disc error or spitting them out at me. I will get in and start the car with the radio off and it will go into an initalizing mode so i turn the radio on and back off and then it stops. Doesn't do it all the time and doesn't matter what temp itis in the car.

yea mine the temp didnt matter, and on rare occassions when i turn on my car now, the cd player starts by scratchin my cds and then spittin them out, so far it damaged two of my cds, i so wanna bash that cd player system into pieces

and for a guy who has 8500 miles on an 05 and takes care of it, its insulting that cd player doesnt even break the 10,000 mile mark in working properly
