Mustang GT Speakers
Okay, I keep reading about the mustang gt's having 8 speakers. All I can find are 6. Four plus the two subs. Where are the other two??? Just curious. So far, everyone on this site has been very helpful with my questions as I am still new to forums posting and this is my first mustang. Thanks for any and all help.

RE: Mustang GT Speakers
Since this is an audio topic, can anyone tell me what size speakers I need for an '06 vert if I want to replace the interior speakers? It has the skipper 1000, but I already replaced the subs (and the sh!tty box they were in).
Also, what brands a good? I'm no audiophile, but, I don't want some crappy WalMart speakers either. My subs are Alpine Type e's, and my last car I had Kenwood eXcelons. Sounded decent, but they would blow out if the wind blew the wrong way.. I went through 2 6x9's and 3 5.25's in a matter of a year.. LOL

RE: Mustang GT Speakers
Yeah they call the 2 tweeters with the 2 side door speakers as 7 and 8. Which are sharing the same speaker wire as the main 2 speakers, but seperated by a capacitor.
exx1978 - I replaced with Infinity KAPPA682.7CF. They sound good and haven't had a problem. They are rated at 100Wrms. So since these are 2 way speakers, and I replaced all 4 speakers in the car, I should say I have an 8 speaker system.
Oh, I only got the basic 4 speaker stereo system because I knew I would rip it out and install my aftermarket.
