my car is at 29,200 miles right now...its an 05 and i think that the mileage is below where it should be....i think KBB says its supposed to be at 40K miles...which to me, seems high....to agree with Owero01, the 12K a year is nonsense...

If you take care of it, and dont drive it hard all the time, it will last well over 100,000 miles. My family has owned fords my whole life, and we have never had any major problems.

IMO, anything over 40,000 miles is high mileage because its reached a point where anything can break at any time. But, thats not to say it won't last until 200,000 miles or more. its just 40,000 miles, to me, is the point that things are no longer expected to be reliable.
