Default 18" drag radials?

anybody know of a pair of drag radials for 18s that turn out to be the factory height of 27 inches? Every one that i find is too big and I don't really want to go bigger because of having to change the speed caliberator...

they dont exist... you'll need to go bigger or smaller..... get urself a CAI and tuner and you'll have no issue getting the speedo right

A quick cruise thru the Summit and Jegs catalogs turns up many choices in 26-28, but not in 18".There is about everyconceivable combo but not that one. I think maybe to get the sidewall to 'work' properly for drag, 18" wheel and 27" (approx) tire diameters might not work.
Probably need to get rims specific for the drag tires (a good idea anyway.)

if your just using them for the track, i wouldn't worry about speed calibration.

The guys running great 60ft's on drag radials have a supporting suspension. Even 17's are still much a compromise. To get the most out of a drag radial you need the sidewall to flex. For what you spend on the tires, you're best to splurge for the appropriate size and wheels. Nobody likes hearing it but it's the right way to do it.

Reason I wanted to use 18s is because I'd like to upgrade front and rear brakes and us the drag radials everyday just to drive on them instead of changing wheels and tires out whenever I go to the track, well I guess I'll have to just get over it and go bigger lol.

You don't want to drive on drag radials everyday. When it rains out, they get slicker than ****. Just bite the bullet and get yourself an extra set of wheels to put the drag radials on and change them before you leave for the track or at the track preferably in case it rains on the way home.
