Funny I see this post because on my way home tonight I thought I got a ticket.
I was behind a minivan and we were both doing between 65 and 70 in a 55 zone. I was about 4-5 car lengths behind him and here comes a state trooper (Crown Vic BTW) in the opposite direction and passes us and immediately whips around. I watched him in my rear view mirror thinking for sure I was busted because I was the last car making me the easy target and I'm driving a RED mustang!! But he gets behind me and punches it to get around me and then flips his lights on and gets the minivan!!! Man did I luck out. So you can chalk this up to a RED car also being a mustang that didn't get pulled over!

When I lived in Clearwater Fla, the police had three customized/modified fox bodied mustangs. I think they might have been ones that were confiscated. I knew what they looked like, and vowed that they would never snag me. I was hauling a$$ to work one day, and as I came around the on ramp, I noticed one of them. It was to late, and I got stopped for speeding. That was my last ticket,knock on wood. It was a beautiful car though. It had ghost flames, nice chrome wheels, and a nice exhaust note.

I rolled up to one in a Dodge Charger the other day thinking hey! this is probably a "car guy" cop. He just looked over and gave me a REALLY dirty look. Oh well, so much for attempting to locate a "cool" police officer.
May have been the 100db's that my stereo was at when I pulled alongside.
