Default which exhaust to get??????

Hey guys...I have an 08 GT. What exhaust is going to give me that old muscle car sound. I have been looking all around on the web and I can't decide what one sounds the best. I was looking at the Magnaflow catback system w/ x-pipe or the corsa axleback with x-pipe. Can anyone tell me which one will give me that muscle car sound or reccomend one that will.

"That old musclecar sound" means different things to different people. I have Borla stingers; they give me the deep throaty rumble that reminds me of my old smallblocks. Flowmasters and Macs also seem to deliver the throat rumble. The throaty rumble, though, means a lot of noise (drone, sometimes) in the cabin.

Corsa's deliver a more modern, perhaps raspy sound. I have them on my LS6 and frankly I like the corsa sound better. MUCH quieter in the cabin (no drone), but every car is different since drone is a result of many factors.

Sound is purely a matter of personal preference, however....one sound is not "better" thanthe others....except to the ear of the listener...so you got to go find some local mustangs and get your ears on them......

Yeah. You need to listen in person. Many different opinions on exhaust. I have Kooks long tubes, Kooks h/f cats and Slp Loudmouths. I like it, but some asy it is too loud. Go to a few car shows and ask to hear differnt set ups.
