With the extra RPMs' and lower 3:73 gear, minus the x-pipe I think this is totally bull sh i t.
The car in my opinion should outrun the Shelby GT. Oh yeah we all know the 0-60 mph times but chit that can change on different runs, temperature, driver or like what fuc k ing ever. Road & Track shame on you. For really showing how much you know this car.

O.K. But back to the Shelby Gt, I would assume the performance should swing to the Bullitt.

The Bullitt has 3.73 and softer shocks.
The Shelby GT has 3.55 but firmer shocks.
As for bhp. The Shelby is rated on Premium Fuel and the Bullitt on Regular Fuel.
They both have regular and premium maps in the PCM. In otherwords they make identical power on the same fuel.
The Bullitt would be quicker at the strip and the Shelby at the track. Of course all either would need to equal the
other is the a change of gears or shocks.
PS despite all the Hoopla about the Bullitts "Special" Shocks, Mufflers, and H-Pipe they all look very familiar to me.
Remember the Shelby GT500 is a Ford. The Shelby GT isnt (Manufacture of record "Shelby"). So the shocks
are the same aftermarket units many of have been buying to soften up the FRPP suspension and the exhaust
looks very similiar to the "Shelby GT". Of course the Shelby GT isnt a Ford so the Bullitt is the first "Ford" with this setup.
