JBA long tubes would give you some increase in HP. I have their shorties and wish I would have done the long tubes. I would first recommend that you get a qaulity CAI and tuner/programmer. You'll be surprised he the increase in HP.

thank you . I just read the exhaust guru's thread and it is just incredible that you guys spend the time to help us all out . What did you not like about the shorty headers ?

Your stock set-up flows pretty good already nor reason to change to another shorty type header. It was a rookie mistake on my part. Do your reason check out youtube for exhaust set-ups. If you do decide to change your mid pipe then go with the prochamber over the x or pipe. Check out the buy groups on this site and save yourself some cash.

Shorties offer very little gains vs the stock manifolds. Since you already have a CAI, get a good custom tune (dyno)and with long tubes, you should hit around 300 at the wheels +/-

I also have JBA Shorties, along with a FRPP X-Pipe, and JBA Axlebacks. Got the SS JBA's on E-Bay fro $300. and the X-Pipe was $139., the Axlebacks Stainless Steel were about $275.I'm satisfied with the gains from these mods.

Note: I'm getting it Dyno'ed next week to see what I'm putting to the ground. I think I should be a little over 300.

I have the JBA Shorties and have no complaints about them.

I lost torque with my SLP loudmouths and charmge-motion delete plates. Installing BBK's 'tuned' length headers gave me all of that torque back and then some and.. most importany.. the 'blub blub blub' pulses leaving one after the other give it a mean sound!

Anyways, im glad I got shortys and kept my stock mid pipe... When Im ready, I plan to buy a new midpipe, more specifically an x-pipe with hi-flow cats. Having shorties lets any stock-designed midpipe bolt right up.

Thanks guys . I think I will go with the long tubes and the tune . Only one question though , how will the custom tune affect my warranty ?
