Whats the price they are selling it for?
I am from Canada and the price is $31,000.00. This includes all options, leather, 18" wheels etc. It also comes with stripe package, roll bar with LED light, hurst shifter and other add ons. The only option it does not have is the 1000 shaker.
Woah!! You can get a new GT for that price!!!

How much does a new GT cost over there?
The car MSRP is $43,500 Canadian not including extras, freight and PDI. Hopefully I spelled everything correctly and my grammer is okay.

My advice, dont... I bought a 2006 in the summer for 31,000 with 900km vert. With the Canadian dollar stonger, and the price of cars STILL cheaper in the states, go buy an 08 GT vert for close to the same price in USD... full warrenty, and its brand new. I kinda regret not doing this myself, after warrenty add ons etc, I could have bought a brand new Vert in the USA for the same price as a 900km 2006.

for some rediculious reason, Canada 08 GT vert = 42,000... USA 08 GT vert = 30,000?... out dollar is worth more yet..., anyone else see a problem with this?

Thanks for the good advice. The only problem is I cannot buy the car without financing it. So the interest rate will be 1.3% from Ford. To buy out of the USA I will have to go into my line of credit which has a higher percentage rate. My plan is to go with the lower rate and pay off in two years.

As I live on a border city, believe meI have been looking at all my options. You can pick up aused Corvettevery cheap in the states now.

I live in a border City as well, near Windsor, Ontario.

maybe it costs $12,000 to change the backing on the speedo to Km/h... lol

If finacning locks you here, then yup its a decent deal. See if you can break em down even more, never hurts to ask.

I'm amazed at the price difference! With the CAD$ on par or a bit better than the US$ I guess there must be a heck of a big tax and imports duties in Canada. Do they have a Value Added Tax also?
Anyway, price aside, I would advise you to look for a different Mustang if it has those problems with the paint job and fit around the gas cap.
It could mean more problems after you pay for it!
