Top Gear raced a GT & Lotus Elise
 

Last night on Top Gear they raced a Mustang GT stock against the Lotus Elise on a course with a good deal of turns and some good stretches. The Elise beat the GT.

if it was a road course then i'm not surprised. If it was the episode where they raced a stage 3 roush vs. a lotus i saw that one lol

Yeah I saw the Roush vs. Lotus ..

The Roush almost got it, just oversteered through the last corner.

lol they pulled of an american vs. brittish showdown. the stig imo was a much better driver than the fat guy they put in that roush. let the stig drive both cars in a time trial and lets see what happens

That's funny! they are both the same sort of object, a fruit. You could easily compare them in the broad sense with.. some sort of fruit comparison contest. Something like how we compare any car against any other car on a road course driving contest.

hmm...


with that being said, I think it's amazing that a roush bassically beat a lotus Elise. Everyone knows the weight and inexperience would have tipped the scale.

I hate how they constantly try and compair american muscle with european track cars. Then they talk about how bad they suck...
If Ford wanted it to do a curvy course instead of a straight line they would have made it that way.


I live my life a 1/4 mile at a time....and for those 10 seconds or less.......im free. :D LOL
