That's what they're there for!
OMG! lol... I had no clue! I thought that was something that keeps the seat from reclining too far! lmao.. I can't wait to go try it out! [8D]

+1 lol i saw it when i was cleaning one day and i was like, o cool my seat cant fall to far back, now that i thinkof it, how often would my seat fall bak on me...

Zero problems with mine working.
They don't unsnap unless I move the seat to allow someone in the back, which is almost never.
