VMP actually sells a smaller MAF housing with their C&L Racer intakes for that reason.

I have the Steeda CAI and am very happy with it. They're all equivalent in performance. The real dif is the quality of the tune.
I also have the Steeda CAI. I'm very impressed. I'm thinking about the UDP's now.

I agree....you can have too big of a MAF, when you have CMCV, LTs and such then the bigger MAF is beneficial but with just a CAI and tune, you will not see any advantage with it at all IMO.

I went with the C&L Racer intake because I do plan on doing more then just the intake and tune, I just installed my pulleys, will be getting my delete plates after the new year and intend to do JBA longtubes and their catted h pipe. who knows down the line a may get my headsworked and get cams installed and install the gt500 throttle body. Only time will tell..

As for the racer intake alone, you may be better off going with the jlt2 intake and tune kit, that thing is a monster in itself...

I have a BBK intake with a Brenspeed tune. I love it. Now I have the modding bug. Pype's mid-muffle and UDP next.
