This makes me think about looking for a new shifter **** in April, when I go to the Good Guys car show. There's a vendor who's there every year who has MoonEyes/SoCalSpeedShop products, and they've also got every kind of shift **** you could think of, with the universal thread inserts to fit Hurst, stock threads, etc. for pretty much every muscle car out there.

I might have to take a look and see if there's anything slick that I like the look of for when I get a short shifter.

My Steeda billet cylindrical shift **** arrived this morning. I love it! It looks great, and it is the perfect size. It's nice to have my tri-ax complete. Here are some pics of it installed. BTW, the tri-ax handle is in it's highest position. (it has two height positions)

i bought my gt used and it came with the hurst sts.
i love the legth of the throws but im starting to get sick of the ball.
is there any product that i can buy to have a shift **** more like that steeda? id much rather just have a cylindrical ****

Stock is 12x1.25...I have the Tri-Ax shifter and the stock **** fits it. That means the tri-ax is 12x1.25 also. Any **** that is 12x1.25 should fit. The math works for me.

It looks nice, but I personally couldn't find that comfortable. I'd feel like I was gripping a "third leg", if you know what I mean. But it looks good.

Careful with the threads. My tri-ax is threaded 12x1.75, but my stock **** is 12x1.25. The steeda **** I got is threaded 12x1.75. Someone told me that Steeda started making the Tri-ax sticks with the S95 (12x1.75) threads instead of the S197 (12x1.25) threads. Best bet is to call the company you will order from and MAKE THEM INSPECT THE PRODUCT PERSONALLY.
