Pinging with stock tune
I have an auto and i get pinging after every shift and my car is stock except
for flowmaster axle-back and 20 inch foose nitrous wheels.
no matter what gas station i go to it still does what should i do.

if i take it to dealership what are they goingto do about it.
I appreciate your help thumpermx113 but i dont think i should
have to use 93 octane because they didnt get the tune right.

I'm saying you need to try using a higher octane gas to actually see if that is your problem. If it goes away with the higher octane gas than yes thats your problem. But if it doesn't, than it's probably not pinging and something else like others have already stated.

+1 Go through a couple of complete tanks of the next higher octane, not just a top-off or filling up on a 1/4 tank. Rather, let it rund down to like an 1/8th and then fill up. Go through a couple of tanks and see how it does afterwards.
Also, if feasable you couldtry a wideband dyno pull or two with the fuel you're currently using just to see how she's running.

Appreciate that martymoose never thought about the dyno,but one more question
if the car is running too lean or too rich what can i do to correct it what will the dealership do
ifi take it to them with the problem.
