The GT500 suffers from wheel hop too. I'd go aftermarket. Check out one of our vendors like www.stangsuspension.com
+1 I have a full Steeda up grade to my rear suspension..... definately helps!!!

Ok, just got off the phone with Ford. They have to replace the lca since its cracked in half and not safe to drive. Price to fix $287. He said $65 for the lca going to overnight it, 60 to install, and 90 for the alignment. Keeping my car overnight.

What alignment? You don't need an alignment when you install LCAs unless they are the adjustable ones and I'm sure the new is not adjustable. Besides, 65+60+90= 215. Where does the extra $72 come from.

Get the LCA and do it yourself. Only takes 30 minutes at the most.

Some bad advice in here.... HTF do you twist your LCA's?
Aftermarket is better. I'd get the BMR's though....oOo I did

Stay away from the gt500 lca's. Get the bmr or john spoon.

Dude,
Don't let them rip you they can not make you have them replace it.
Take it home and install some BMRs or take it to another shop and do it.

I gotta get it fixed tomorrow by them, this is my only car and I can't get to work without it. I can't drive the car "safely" without the new lca in, mine is cracked and bent all to s***. I really don't have time to order a aftermarket one or get one from another forum member. So it sucks, but I gotta pay it. I need a alignment because now my steering wheel is tilted left when I am going straight. Maybe the lca messed it up, maybe not, either way I think I need an alignment. Thanks for the help guys. Maybe Later on...down the road I will get the better aftermarket lca's.

Get a friend to drive you, make the dealer pay the difference for a set of BMR aftermarket LCAs. You have been ripped off so they can charge you the higher non-warranty profit margin. This is a civil offense on their part.
