Fuel gauge / unit frozen ???
Setup, I live in the DC area and we just had our first snow and some cool temps, went to fuel the car this morn and it took just under 12 gals, but read only about 1/2 full, drove it a bit and it shows about 3/4 now.
Is this common for this car, does the outside temp freeze anything up to screw the gauge reading up? Does it need to go to dealer for fix or is there something I can do?

well, drove it into work and its showing the correct level now, curious to know if anyone had this happen before, I will keep an eye on it during the cold temps...

Not in cold weather, and not full. I have been at a 1/4 tank, and then all of a sudden it shows I have 0 fuel and 0 miles left to empty. SOmetimes I could turn it off and restart it, and it would come back. Or I have to fill it up again. I have had this happen about 3 to 4 times in the past almost 2 years I have owned it.

I had to replace my sending unit, because mine started to do that, and then it got to the point where the needle and the electronic gauge would both read empty. I would go get that looked at, especially since it's getting into winter.
