The infinitys are very popular, i like them in mine.....any aftermaket speaker will be able to handle the stock wattage....its not much, each OEM speaker had 25 watts stamped on the back, very low wattage

You can search the net and ebay and get 2 pairs of these for around $100

hey thanks so even if i get pioneer's navi, it wont matter if i dont have pioneer's speakers? i wish they made more than those two choices, it tells me i could only put those in the rear deck anyways................one thing, how did u change the ones in the rear deck............and with ur speakers, hows the bass?

p.s. that linked directed me back to their home page :-(

Yeah...those are the ones

The speaker brand does not have to match the stereo deck...they are all interchangable....

Are you getting a D3 or a Z1/Z2?

i have had all the speakers out of my s197.. the 8's that are in the doors are dual voice coil ... they are a really good speaker.... but if your going to go nuts like i did you will need to replace them..... as far as the rest of them i went with alpine spx 5.25 mids and tweets.... they sound amazing
