Car has 35,432......CAI only has about 5K on it. Is there a remedie to clean it or do I need to go buy the solution? Im in school so money is scarce, plus this trip will cost me about 150 down and 150 back

if you haven't changed your fuel filter and you regularly run it low then that would certainly be the cause. I would change out the filter first and foremost. Especially if it has never been done, I have had similar symptoms in a car that had a clogged fuel filter.

i'm thinking it may be a plug wire...seems that it could be the most likely culprit...

could also be a fuel pump issue.

I agree if it were a plug wire a code for misfire should be tripped. I would lean towards fuel filter. Take the car to a reputable shop (not jiffy lube, or one of the chains) and have the fuel filter changed, especially if you have never had it changed before.

ANd just a useful peice of info, My car actually ran harder before I had the cylinoid change! It felt as if it were tuned compared to now!

Well, if you had a tranny problem, there is a very good possibility that the car was reprogrammed--this could explain your hesitation if you have a cold air intake running on a stock tune.
