It could be your diablo chip (doubtfull)...you really need to start narrowing down the culprits and then you should be able to figure out what the problem is...as the OP suggested I would start with the fuel filter since you don't have any check engine lights on...

First thing I would do above all else would be, put the car back to stock form, ie. factory airbox and tune then drive the car to see if problem went away. Sounds like your car was reflashed after the work was done for your tranny problem.
You could also try and reinstall your tune to see if that helps

Lol, I usually refrain from grammar/English comments becuase I can be bad myself, and its the internet, not a homework assignment. But when they say they're at college it gives me a giggle.
