S197 Valve Cover R & R

Anyone remove and reinstall their S197 valve covers? Just wondering how much of a pain it is?

very simple to do. just make sure there is no dirt to fall in engine when pulling the cover off

Thanks, shoulda known to look at Bill's threads, he helped me install the MGW shifter. One of the guys here cleaned up his OEM covers with steel wool(while on the car). Actually came out nice and I figured it'd be easier off the car. Wish someone madeBlack Krinkle finished finned covers..

You can always buya stock set have them painted.
