Car/driving/tech websites most helpful to you--please list some
What are your favoriteautomotive/tech websites? Can you please list some. My searches are turning up the same old ones.
Besides this forum (and The Mustang S ource), here's a few of mine:
www.mustang-gtcs.info/mods01.htm What an amazing, detailed private site with a ton of pictures.
www.autoshop101.com This archive of technical articles was very instructive to me. (unfortunately, it's all Toyota)[&:]
www.ponysite.de This site has everything Bullitt, which is what started it for me years ago.
www.hookedondriving.com This site (in the video gallery section) has the heel-toe method I use (which I found clumsily on my own over time by trial and error.)
www.turnfast.com basic, well-written driving stuff.
Can you all add some others that you like? Thanks.

Well I used to get mad that the admins would put word blocks on links to other sites cause I didn't see anything a wrong with sharing technical info but I have to say, after awhile, even a block head like me can figure some things out. When I really think about, the admins have a responsibility to their members, TRUE, but they also have a responsiblity to their vendors who pay to keep the site up and running. I understand why certain competitive sites are blocked and it makes sense.
For that reason, I am not going to name other sites. Yes, it is a fact that there are more technical orientated sites out there that may give you an instant answer to a more technical question, but the fact is there are a lot of good tech resources here too and though you may have to wait a little bit longer for someone to sift through more 'non-tech' threads, the truth is you should be able to get an answer to your question here in a short time and worst case, you may have to make the thread a couple times until the right person sees it. No biggie.
Let's face it, it's no secret to most of you who the 'undercover brother' is and I have been on this site off and on under one name or another since the S197 sections began. I get in 'moods' every now and then and quite frankly, act like an *** and that sometimes gets me banned but the truth is I always come back. I'm well known on several sites but if you were to look at my computer, you'd see I spend more time here than anywhere. Now, this may not be the most technical site on the internet and I may 'lash out' at this site at times, but the fact I am here and continue to come here means this site obviously has something...

Well, I sure don't mean any harm. This is my favorite Mustang site, I spend a lot of time here, I have learned a lot here and this is where I always look first for information. I also have made it a point to buy almost exclusively from the vendors that support this site. I was just trying to use the experience of the members of this forum. As an example, I learned a lot about differentials from a four-wheel-drive site that a mustangforums member mentioned in one of his posts. I'm just looking for information.

Might be better if when you need specific information, just ask for other resources. Otherwise, the list could get LOOOONG. If one thing is for sure about this site, it's that you can just ask about anything...
