Rattle from under car, not exhaust
 

I have a slight rattle from underneath the back of the car when I take off or accelerate from a roll. I thought it was my GTA's but when I sit in the car and have someone shakeand kick the pipes, it is not the same rattle I am hearing. Is there any other things that loosen up on the back of the stangs?

Check the clamps on the GTA's. Sometimes an exhaust leak under accel sounds like a rattle...Also, there is a heat shield right under the drivers seat that on mine, was rattling against the frame.....

My transmission sounds like it's chattering under a load. I don't know if it's something to concern myself with or not.

Check the foam under your rear bumper cover. Mine rattles bad I just haven't had time to take the cover off and don't want to take it to the dealer, just don't trust them taking the bumper off.

Is it at all rpm's or just at a specific rpm's? mine makes a slight rattle or knock between 2500 and 3300 usually only in 2nd,3rd, and 4th gear. It is not noticable if I accelerate slow with minamal load, or at full throttle, sure drives me nuts somedays. I would also like some new ideas?

I just bought an '05 gt auto 6 days ago. I took it to the dealer today for the same problems you guys are explaining and they ordered a new trans. crossmember. Thes is a TSB on the exhaust insulators on the trans crossmember being bad and causing a rattleat certain RPM's mine will even rattle in drive full brake it will just start rattling. They alsoare going to fix the front suspension knock.
