Default Cold Water + Hot Exhaust = Bad?

So, I did something really dumb and, desperate to get the salt off my car, I sprayed the underside of the car with water while washing it (but not the engine), without fully cooling the car down.

I have noticed an occasional squeaking sound on braking. Could this be a warped rotor? I am not getting any vibrating or pulsating, just this squeaking sound at regular intervals in time with the rotation of the wheel, while braking. The sounds happen farther and farther apart as I slow down. It also doesn't seem to occur with very light braking, and doesn't happen all the time, sometimes the sound just disappears.

Also, my exhaust seems louder. This may be in my head, but is it possible to cause an exhaust leak by spraying the hot exhaust system? The water was actually farely hot water, but I am sure nowhere near as hot as the exhaust.

If this is the case, couldn't the same thing happen while driving in rain or going through a puddle?

I would bet the rotors are rusting a bit and causing a slight whine when breaking.

Rotors rusting??? On these cars??? No way! Seriously, my rotors rust so much that the rust stains drip down onto my nice rims looking like crap. Must have been another "cost cutting" measure by Ford to sell us these awesome cars for <$30k.

I've had problems with my rear calipers since around 2 mos. after purchasing the car. A good application of WD40 silenced them for awhile, then some brake pad grease.

Finally I swapped my brake pads out for Hawk HPS (sp?). That solved the problem. I think there was even a tsb on the brake pads for 07.....
