For those with GPS...
Where are you mounting your GPS cradle arm and how did you run the wire to the power plug? I have mine suctioned on to the glass between the "eyebrows" of the dash, which seems right to me, but just have the wire twist tied up so that the bulk of it hangs around the center vents. Not crazy on how it looks. Anyone do anything different?

Mine is mounted in the passenger seat and the wire runs straight from her mouth!

I haven't known it's accuracy to be 100% correct and I strongly believe that it doesn't have the fully updated maps.
I'm thinking of switching mine out for a newer model...

APioneer Avic Z2 replaced my Shaker 500. It does everything.

And is the sound just as good if not better? I could REALLY use feedback on it.

My idea isn't a really practical one but I will one day cut into my passenger visor and put the screen in there. I don't want to see it unless I need it and it would be pretty custom. You need a really thin one though like the Navigone

You can make a mount for it, or other things, between the center vents of dash. Pull vents straight back and out. Use a piece of clear plastic (page protector type) and trace outline of half circle of vent on each side. Get some plexiglass I used 1/4 inch as I had some, but a little thinner may work better. Mark the plexiglass using your trace outline of dash vents, jigsaw it, get as good round file and file away until vents fits snug into the 1/2 circle on each end of plexiglass. Works pretty good, goes on/off quick and easy, (could probably mount gauges on it and run wires into vents) Power plug is right below it.
