I seriously doubt the could trade for a GT 500 for that.
He's 10k upside down in his equity. He owes what its sticker price was! (In fact the 2008 GT Premium base sticker is 28k...)
The MSRP of the Shelby GT is 37k.
They are offering him an average deal.

I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would pay the price for the Shelby GT - it's just a GT with some appearance items. And with the numbers they're producing, it's not going to appreciate in value in our lifetimes...

Well, the Shelby is a prestige thing. I mean anybody can buy a GT. And I mean ANYBODY! And apparently you don't need to put any money down!

If you can't put down at least $20,000 on a ShelbyGT then you need to stick with the GT that you must be making huge payments on.

As I've said before......... A car is just a car. Its just for transportation. Sure, we like fun fast transportation, but in the end its just a car much like a tv is just a tv or a hat is a hat. They serve their purpose, but in the end are nothing more.

So enjoy your GT and don't take a huge detour in your life and finances just to buy a cool name when theres really no point to it. Be practical, think of the future.

Those payments must be enormous. 30K loan with no money down and 0% is $500 a month. Now you will owe on 45K, my math is bad but thats a $750 a month payment. You will always be upside down on the car and I don't think even if you bubble wrap that car the second you get it that it will be worth more than 45K during your lifetime.

In my opinion and opinions are like ******** everyone has one but I love the Shelby GT however I'm only with the black and silver stripes. That blue onelooks weak. I seen it at the dealership. I think they should of just kept the two colors black and white with silver stripes.
Thanks.

Here is a pic of Lilly and I.

Probably not, but then again, God forbid Shelby passes away, they might go up a bit.

IMO, the Shelby GT is just a visual upgrade to the GT... if I'm spending that much $$ I want some substance.

BTW, a $45k loan paid over 60 months with a 3.5% rate is $818 per month...

The Shelby GT is more than just a visual upgrade, there are engine, exhaust, and suspension modifications also.

As said before, if you plan on collecting it get the Shelby. If not stick with your GT.

IMO, not near enough in the upgrades department to justify the price... for the price difference you can make a much better performing car out of the GT.

But to each their own.
