Default Scratches in my leather seats!

I let a friendleave his dog in my 2007 GT while we visited a restaurant. The dogs claws scratched my rear seats. The seats' leather surfaceis not actually broken through, but the claws left marks that don't clean off. I am looking for any suggestions as to how to clean/remove these marks without ruining the seats. My seats are the darkgraphite (look like black)color. Thank you for any help!

I really don't know what will help. Have you tried a leather conditioer/ cleaner, and worked it in real well. Hopefully someone else has some good info.

Ummmm, sorry to break the news, but the entire rear seat is made of vinyl[&o]. If the scratches are deep enough where they won't come clean with a simple wipe down, the only thing that will work is to redye the area(I had a little rub scuffing on the vinyl area of the front driver's seat by the power adjustment switches) and a little black liquid shoe polish worked wonders.

I did try leather conditioner/cleaner and it did nothing.

If I use liquid shoe polish won't it make the seats a darker color? I thought the surfaces that touch your body were leather and the other, side trim, etc. were vinyl. You are saying that the entire rear seat is vinyl?

Yeah, the entire rear seat is vinyl, only the front seating surfaces are leather(seat sides, headrest & seat backs are vinyl). The area I used the shoe polish on was only about a 1/4" long, so I was able to blend the polish into the vinyl for a decent match. Only other alternative is to use vinyl spray dye, but getting an exact match would be the hardest part.
Maybe using some vinyl care products over a period of time might help rid of the scratches.

Order a set of GT take-offs and just use the rears to replace yours.. Put up the fronts cause youre going to need them several years down the road. The rear seat swap is very easy. Going to run $300.00 plus shipping for the set. Don't let dog back into rear seats without putting them down and lift console cover to keep out of the front seats. Works for my mutts.

I think he meant putting the rear-seat-backsdown so the dog wouldn't scratch the seats; not putting the dogs down.
