Default HOW SOON CAN I DYNO?

I have 350 miles on my car.. but I want to start getting real dyno numbers this comming weekend or next. I'm worried though with the stress that they will put on my car. Also someone told me that dynos are setup different for certain cars.. ex. supra tt: and mustang?? something with sae??

Wait till the 1k mark and posibly wait after your first oil change. Make sure you're breaking the car in right too. Give it some tough love. Don't baby it like some of these guys think is right.

stress on a DYNO??? HOW? Just wondering.... messing around on the street puts more stress on youre car than a dyno... There is not really any stress from a dyno. You can dyno it any time you want.

Yeah, Casper.... You're supposed to keep a new under about 4k rpms for a certain amount of time. I too would wait for the 1k mark...

Then GO GO DYNO!

No, it's just good to let the engine wear in before you go there so you get the right numbers. That under 4k stuff is nonsense.

Your rings and cam shafts need to break in alittle bit, then that baby is ready to be driven. Less than 500 miles... Your transmission and rear are ready to go after alittle driving.
