My fob works but it's no where near 100 yd -- more like 30 - 40 yd at best

Have you guys with weak fob strength thought about changing the battery? Mine's about 7 months old now and still goes two or three hundred feet through several walls in my appartment. If I'm not sure I locked it when I get inside I can click it twice from the kitchen and listen for the faint horn.

Worth a try anyway, if it's giving you trouble.

A hood with an integral scoop would be nice. I haven't found the need to unlock my door when I am more than 20ft from the car. It always works though. I would like to have it unlock the door without turning on the headlights though. Makes it hard to sneak in at night. I don't like the seats rubbing on the center console... going to cause wear both on the seat and the console.

If they offered all the options you guys mention what would you mod?

The things that comes to my mind first is the seats. The material, the seats are good but material sucks. The leather in my cobra is almost 15 yrs old and still feels way way better than the stuff in ours. Spoiler options would be good, for me my #1 change would be going back to the 5.0.

Well its a good thing you only wanted to spend $27000 for the car
Ya, i'd like to see mirrored inserts, and a trunk release button but the rest I like to do myself and that is one of the glamerous things of this car.
UM the V6 now comes with different spoiler but I know that is a huge concern
I'd really like to see another engine options.

So having owned your Mustangs for a while, what would you change about the car the way it comes from the factory? i.e. features that you'd change or add/subtract if you were running product planning for the Mustang line. These should be achievable during a midyear 'freshening', so as much as I'd like to see "improved interior materials" I don't think that would be right for this list, as it would predicate a major overhaul of the basic design.Mine:Mirrors painted body colorGT should have a different spoiler than the v6, a la ducktail/GT5001/2 - 1" lowerAdd another freaking hook to the floormats Leather handbrake cover and armrest coverShort-throw shifterReal 'carpet' trunk mat+50 HP, possible for a midyear makeover I thinkSport seatsWhat do you think?
Robert
Yep the fox body sound would be cool to but they don't but a 302in a mustang anymore and I really am glad they don't put the 2valve in the mustang anymore either now that would be silly and sensless. Careful what you wish for.
for once i'd like to have an American car that didn't rattle and squeek, but I'm just a dreamer.
i'd also like the exhaust to sound like the 96-04s [:-]

how about the 3.5L or 3.7L V6? Of course they would have to bump up the HP on the GT!

One of the daycare parents here works at the Auto Alliance plant and he told me that
sequential lights were coming soon.
