Transmission question!
I was wondering the max amount of horse power these stock 5 speeds will handle and for how long.... And also what are you guys with a lot of power launching at.. Are these rearends pretty strong??

Me thinks 610 rwhp + TR3650 + Slicks = Broke
Best Option for a street tranny is a Viper Spec T56 or TR6060.
The stock input shaft on that 3650 is definately on borrowed time.
But its only the weakest link.
If you plan on that tranny having a prayer of living I suggest a "fusabile link" like Nittos.

Last time I was at the track I was cutting 1.7's on ET streets..... That was when I had 460 rwhp..Just wanted to know what I was up against with the new power plant....

Clutch will go first, when you replace it, look into the 26 spline input shaft for a little extra strength.

once you replace everything from the
flywheel back, you should be ok

So no one is making a rebuild kit that is stronger for our trannies yet? I was hoping someone would.
