I've been driving musclecars since I was 16 (now 34) and after selling my last two "projects" I decided to roll my hot rod desire and need for a daily driver into 1. So I bought a black 2008 California Special.

I always enjoy researching the cars I own, and I was hoping to find out more about the car, if it's a limited production or an enhancement package, etc. If anyone has any tips or suggestions to how I can research the '08 (lots of '07 info out now), it would be appreciated.

The cali special is has a few main differences, it has different front and rear bumpers, it comes with non-functional side scoops and a non-functional hood scoop. Others that have the car I'm sure will be glad to elaborate on the subject. Welcome to the forum, you will learn new things everyday.

Dont forget it has the rear diffuser that the standard GTs dont come with, the GT500 has it tho. I really hope that skull isn't on that car for real....

The Calif. Special is just a standard GT with a few special options added.
Not considered a limited production model, because it's just an option.

There's not many differences in the 2008's so just about anything we've been talking about for the past 4 years will work for you.
