RE: carbon fiber hood!!!
The carbon fiber doors from Seibon save a crap load of weight however fitment isn't the best -- I would recommend the a carbon fiber trunk over doors
ORIGINAL: CroDalmatinac
Better to put your money towards the CF doors, or even the trunk lid. More weight is saved.

Daniel, CF hoods can look 'weird', but not ricey. Its all in your taste. One thing I gotta be honest about is that tungsten scoop would not look good on a CF hood... I think putting the hood only on would look clean and mean.

Thanks for posting the pic tnstang06. I always wondered what that model Seibon looked like on car. Pretty wild looking. People do check out the carbon hoods, I get looks and comments all the time. A guy at the gas station the other night asked me "is that some custom job?" lol!
The doors do save a lot of weight. I've heard over 300lbs. But the power windows don't work with them and I wouldn't want to experience a t-bone crash with only that between myself and the other car [].
Here's a pic of my car/hood. It really didn't save any weight over the stock one. I swapped them both out by myself. They're both really lightweight.
